Distraction
I’ve spent too much of my time distracted by useless and trivial things. This is the start of a new re-committment and this time i’m going all out!
cooked this last night and it was amazing!
some notes to consider while cooking:
- remove cream from recipe
- drain beef broth before adding meat and vegi’s to pie pan
- consider using a little less butter than the recipe requires

did this in 27min… sucks, but I felt pretty good at the end, not too overly exhausted. afterwords I did something that just popped into mind.
jump rope for 3 min

10 box jumps

this was thursdays workout. i had a long day and this was pretty much the last thing I wanted to do… its okay though, I did it and I felt great when I was done, tired, but great.

I honestly dont know why they made us do this one today, especially after yesterdays workout was predominantly arms. I was barely able to do the lifts and the pushups, but I’m not one to complain so I Just did it and tried to do it as quickly as possible, minus all the pain I was feeling in my shoulders.

Kelly was a great buy in, It felt really good doing this after the first workout because it actually helped to loosen up the tightness I was feeling in my shoulders.

okay, this long hiatus is over, back to being committed to my body and to my health!
here’s what I did today.
“Barbara”
5 Rounds for time:
20 Pull Ups
30 Push Ups
40 Sit Ups
50 Squats
I finished this around 30+ minutes, now usually this kind of time would completely upset me and definitely activate my gag reflexes… but since I did “Man” push-ups, I didn’t let this affect me too much. As a cool down I ran a glorious 2.5 miles, and I really do mean glorious, I’ve never felt so pumped about running and I totally enjoyed the run too! it was just a great day all in all… well, in the gym anyway. :-)
here’s to tomorrow! hope its as fun and killer as it was today!
